I'm not sure how to explain this, but I am creating a new project and have been adding, deleting, and moving Modules in my Worksheet. Now I have areas in my worksheet that act like there is something in that spot and will not allow a connection (wire) to run through the spot or allow a module to move to that spot. Is there a way to clean up a worksheet? At one time my project got locked up and would not respond and I had to have Windows shut it down. This could have also caused the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm using DasyLab 13.0.
Thanks

Hi Craig,
I have sometimes the same problem...
Try this:
-save your corruted worsheet in .DSA format
-open the .DSA worksheet and save it in .DSB format
The new .DSB worksheet should be "clean"...

Thanks for the tip. I can try that if it happens again. CJ already fixed it for me this time.

Just to close this out.... in some cases, I can repair corrupted worksheets.
Contact me via email or private message with a copy of the worksheet.

Can anyone provide a solution to this issue? I attempted the (DSB to DSA to DSB solution and I still have the area corruption in my workspace.

Here is a solution to this issue.
To begin Close Dasylab and save a copy before continuing.
Go to the following location in your PC (location may differ slightly):
-> C:\Users\Public\Documents\DASYLab\14.0.1\eng
Open the DASYlab Configuration Setting using a text editor (notepad, etc.)
Under the text that reads: [General]
add a line and type: debug=1
Save and close.
Open Dasylab File with the corrupted workspace.
You will see placement outlines for the modules and traces visible.
Unused dots may be erased by
Left clicking with the SHIFT key pressed.
Once you have erased unused/inactive dots Save and close Dasylab
Return to the configuration setting and remove the added line "debug=1", save, and close.
Hope this helps.
