Where is NC-SI Port on IC-3173

Solved!

Hi

I use 3173 FPGA I/O, there are four NC-SI ports, but it is not Iso Input, iso Output,  Differential I/O or TTL I/O. Which hardware dose it control? POE port?

Hi,

The NC-SI stands for Network Controller Sideband Interface and it would be for the Ethernet.

Those nodes allow the FPGA to send and receive traffic from the network ports, bypassing the system’s CPU. Using these nodes directly takes some significant effort.

The Vision-RIO Driver API makes use of this internally to determinstically trigger GigE Vision cameras over Ethernet, without any extra cables.
