NI USI-6212 not found by DAQmx 8.7.1

Hi!

I have a NI USB-6212 BNC and it does not show up in the Measurement & Automation Explorer. I am working with LabView 8.0, NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 and Windows XP SP3. In the Device Manager there appears an entry 'USB-621x Loader' when the NI USB-6212 BNC is connected but nothing else happens. What should I do?

Hey Marek,

thanks for your reply. I found out that the USB-6212 BNC differs from the USB-6212. It needs at least DAQmx 8.9. Unfortunately DAQmx 8.9 is not compatible to LabView 8.0.

This is a very old thread. Did you read the answers above? Did you try any of the suggestions?

This is really an old thread - and with a wrong information. You'll need at least DAQmx 9.0 for a USB-6212 BNC. See the readme of that version.

@Rehan23: You really have only access to LabVIEW 8.0??
