There are several ideas about how to improve the ability to move around in arrays. (See here and here for two)
One I'd like to see is the ability to hover the mouse over the index display and then ctrl + scroll wheel through the elements. See the skillfully drawn attached picture. For multidimentional arrays the index that the mouse was hovered over would be the one to scroll.
I find myself wanting this feature a lot of the time. Especially when I click and either select the array or miss the scroll arrow entirely.
