Editing the Font Styles and Size of a text, can't it be Simpler? rather than a lot of mouse clicks each time??

Many had suggested the use of Key board shortcuts, but it may be used for some other things. But Why shouldnt we use a dialogue box instead?

The problem is lot of mouse clicks to go to Dialogue font, Styles/size and then to the respective selection like,

The Key board shortcuts are being used for other functions., But Why shouldnt we have solution like this??

I am not sure whether it can be done or someone already suggested., but i didnt come accross anything like this when i searched for.

A lot of good ideas being submitted regarding the use of LV and consistency of functions, not only between different LV UI's but also between LV and operating systems.

Ya.., I was irritated when I was editing the Fonts of the LabVIEW., so I was searching for is there any other ways to do it.. Every one had suggested Keyboard shortcuts but were criticized that keyboard shortcuts are already in use for other functions. So, Why can't they try for a solution like this..! May be, I wish LabVIEW developers should note this..

Though this may look simple, it means a lot when you come across a lot of Text to be edited 😛

What this link means?? I already saw that link, it suggested to use Keyboard Shortcuts like ctrl+B, but received criticisms like the keyboard shortcuts are being used for other functions.

So, Here I have suggested Text Box, not the key board shortcuts.. I had said this above itself.. In my post..

Ya.., sorry, when I searched, I couldn't get this.. But, Y didn't this get implemented till now?? I wish, it should get implemented atleast in the upcoming version.

But you know that with CTRL + = you can open a dialog window to edit the text much easier than with the seemingly endless series of single-click-pulldown-menu-selections?

On my win7 the keabord shortcut for opening the font dialog is CTRL + "0" (with 0 both on keyboard or numeric keypad).

CTRL + "=" and CTRL + "-" respectively increases and decreases the font size in step of 1 point.
