It would be nice to have some sort of overlay on the Controls and Indicators that are hidden on the block diagram, to quickly see that its hidden on the FP. Add a black frame or grey out the background.
I would consider this idea a duplicate of the following idea: Dim Node when Control / Indicator is Hidden. The general concept is the same (some indication on the terminal to show the control is hidden), but a different implementation.
