Speed up Quick Drop with large projects

To begin with, this is very likely a corner case, I don't expect this to get ever implemented, but the VIs are password protected which makes customizing them difficult.

When a project with a lot of VIs is open in a LabVIEW instance the Quick Drop loads for ~2 seconds, which is more then enough for me to press the shortcut combination too, leading to another pop-up windows to appear (like find window for Ctrl+F).

I wish this would be options, i.e. another option on the customization panel, or an option inside the project file/library which might be used less frequently.

I don't get the solution you're suggesting. An option that is used less frequently? An option for what?

I guess you mean an option to not include less frequently used items in the QD?

CARAYA, you are right, I did not specified the issue correctly. The large project include large number of files. The Quick Drop, at the loading of the window, populates the list with including files form the project.

I was referring to an option to exclude project files altogether, set specific project to exclude their files, or set specific libraries, that have files less often used inside the project to exclude their files from scanning during Quick Drop window load.

I agree with your comment that the option makes to Quick Drop more responsive, and it's possibly my mistake of the ambiguous description, but I'm not concerned about the responsiveness after loading the window, but during loading the window.
