Suppress automatic refresh of graphs after layout changes

Status: Completed

Please have a look at Brad's comment.

With large datafiles and hence, many points in a x-y-graph it takes very long for diadem to update all curves in a report. It is really annoying if you need to change the layout on many report pages since the layout is updated every time you are changing it a bit...

Is it possible to suppress the automatic update of the whole page? If necessary, the user can still update the report page manually by using the update-button.

Hi MortAC, There are a couple of options already in DIAdem REPORT that may satisfy you. First of all, you can always hit the key several times to end the redraw cycle in REPORT or in VIEW, and it will also abort the loading process into the Data Portal (though it may take a while to come to the next loading part that it can abort from). If you're in REPORT, you can choose the "View >> Data Layer" menu to engage or disable drawing the data layer in REPORT. You need to engage the data layer before it will draw again, but this sounds very close to what you're asking for. Brad Turpin DIAdem Product Support Engineer National Instruments

Thx a lot for your hints. What do you mean with "hit the key" - do you mean the "update-button" or which key?
