Does anyone know how to build a pivot chart( like excel does) in Diadem?

Hi AntCoder,

DIAdem has some ability to display multiple quantities on the X axis of a graph, as shown below.  As for pivoting different data into the graph, DIAdem can handle that with different DataFinder queries in the NAVIGATOR to load a new slice of the data into the Data Portal to combine with the REPORT layout.  This is not as elegant or as easy to use as a pivot table, but the big benefit of the DIAdem approach is that it can do this pivoting and displaying on data stored in as many different data files as you want.  There is no copying and pasting necessary to get all the relevant information into one Excel spreadsheet so you can use the pivot table on that data.

Brad,

Could you provide more detail as to how you created that pivot chart?  Thanks

The DIAdem chart above is not an active pivot chart like you're used to in Excel.  The items along the X axis are passive labels and can not be changed by clicking on them.  The X axis names for each row off to the right is not "attached" to the X axis, so you have to manually line it up vertically and create exactly the right spacing between "rows" to match the X axis items.  It's not an elegant solution.
