Ability to put Annotations on Vision Images

Any idea that has received less than 2 kudos within 2 years after posting will be automatically declined. 

As per the title.  Just like we can do for LabVIEW graphs using right-click menu.

Are you wanting something different to the IMAQ Overlay VIs?  With a combination of Overlay Text and Overlay Line I would think you can achieve much the same result as Annotations.

 

Or are you asking for the ability to define an Overlay from the right-click-menu?  What would be the need for doing that?

Greg - Open a new blank VI.  Drop an intensity graph on it.  Press the continuous run button on the VI.  Right-click on the graph.  Note the 'Create Annotation' option.  That is what I mean.  I am currently some annotations using overlays.   Right-click option would be nice.

OK, I get it now.  You could probably program the equivalent functionality, but it could take a while.
