Add custom commands extensible interface for QD

Status: New

Hello all!

The standard LabVIEW plugins are great but operate based on Ctrl + Key shortcut. This means that after a while almost all of your keybord keys can be occupied by a shortcut.

Please add an interface for defining commands in the QD ComboBox, which could be used as a more extensible option over single keys.

Example - a Dialog command could be invoked like this:

Ctrl+Space -> Dialog Text -> Ctrl + CCtrl+Space -> Dialog Text -> Ctrl + C

Example community package implementing this can be found here: https://forums.ni.com/t5/Quick-Drop-Enthusiasts/Class-QD-Plugin-Package/gpm-p/3992772

Thank you!

Additionally this idea should include the option to reuse the previously used Commands, like a command line interface. Also this QD configuration should allow to show the commands available. Alternatively QD configuration could include another tab for command definitions.

Somewhat related idea, which suggests a different mechanism to do something similar - https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Supercharge-Quick-Drop-Turn-QD-keyboard-shortcuts-int...

Personally, I tend to use the context menu plugins more than QD shortcuts, and text based commands would probably not get me closer to using QD more. I suspect many users would have similar preferences, although many people also like text.
