Do not allow any Constant or Control to be on top of each other

Sometimes you could have a "T" and a "F" and if you align them on top of each other and you wire it to an indicator, sometimes it can be very misleading in large programs.

Somehow if constants can "repel" each other, then we wouldn't have this problem. Attached is a small example where the "T" is hidden behind the "F" and so the indicator shows "T" even though visually it looks like wired to "F".

Kudos are the best way to say thanks 🙂

It is forbidden to forbid on this forum...

And why would you align two constants on top of each other if not for a prank?

Joke apart, surely it could be picked up by the "Show Warnings" option of the Error list (which it is not in LV 2012), although that might result in chaos as I would argue that there is always some amount of oerlapping somewhere in any modestly complex VI...

These problems are picked up by the VI Analyzer all right, BTW, so if you are talking about issues encountered in inheriting badly layed out VIs, do yourself a favor and invest in it (which as a NI employee shouldn't cost you much).
