Instead of writing the VI name or making a snippet from a simple VI, why dont we just directly drag the VI into forum.
For example:
I would post a question in forum and I want to insert a simple VI into my post (Boolean To (0,1).vi). Instead of writing its name, or even more painful: take a snippet from my block diagram -> save to desktop -> upload in forum, it would be nice to simply drag the VI directly from Labview into forum.
instead of writing Boolean To (0,1).vi or snippet->save->upload
we can drag it directly and shown just like how it looks in pallet . The name is shown when you hover your mouse over the icon.
The idea is to speed up posting, simplify the VI searching, save some spaces in posting, and of course reducing text-using in forum, due to the fact that Labview is not a text-programming language .
Maybe even better if there is a quickdrop function in forum (but such idea would be forum related, not really Labview-idea)
