LabView save 3D file (STL, VRML, ASE or other format)

Hello,

LabView permits to import three different 3D file formats: VRML, STL and ASE.

So LabView can handle these file type, but is not possible to export any CAD format with LabView.

In example can not be exported to a CAD format simple x,y,z points generated by a mathematic process in LabView.

Next future will be possible to save CAD formats?

This would be a library that we would ask someone with CAD expertise to create. I doubt that you would ever see such a library from National Instruments as this is neither an area of our own expertise nor a core business area for us. Such a library would be better written and better maintained coming from a third party. Obviously, we would develop this if it became core to our business, but you will have more success in the short run by talking to CAD vendors whose projects interact with LabVIEW and asking them to develop the necessary VIs.
