Searching text in string and/or path constants in all VIs (opened/unopened) of a project.

At times we might need to search for a text, specially when look for dynamic call to VI and relative paths. Ctrl+F works well with all opened VI's but what about all other VIs in a project.

 

Its good to have it as a feature in LabVIEW project.

 

Though I've created a small code for me and would like to share.

I am not allergic to Kudos, in fact I love Kudos.

I've uploaded the code here, and the same functionality, I wish to have as a native feature of LabVIEW project.

In general, I would love the built in search capabilities to be extendable to all items in a project or all items in a specific folder on disk. (Yes, I know they would all need to be loaded into memory to complete the search.)

 

There are many things that could drastically improve the usefulness of the search function. This is one of them.
