I had not noticed that particular point but many of the controls and indicators have awkward sizes. Why not make the default sizes of all indicators and controls such that all edges coincide with the default front panel grid? It should also be possible to make string and numeric control edges fit to the grid regardless of font size. Options: Size to Text or Size to Grid?, maybe?
