Add VIEW multi-line legend option (2018+)

In DIAdem 2018, the VIEW legend changed and multi-line legends are no longer supported.  I'd like to add back in a predictable multi-line legend option.  When multiple legend items are added in DIAdem 2018, much more of the screen is taken up with the legend (if I want to view all of the legend items), and less of the data area is visible.

I've attached two images to show the comparison of a 2D axes with 5 legend items in DIAdem 2017 and 2018.

I agree the multi-line legends are useful.  It is easier to see x,y coordinates, or min/max with the multi-line legend.

I agree with @Chris@GE.  The multi-line legends are very useful.  I have rolled back to 2017 because of this change.

Thank you, Walter!  I seem to be able to have the same functionality as DIAdem 2017 in the DIAdem 2019 beta, with the new layout parameter option to "word wrap".

In DIAdem 2019 Beta we implemented a switch to choose either single line or multiple line mode for the legend in VIEW 2D axis.

I have 2019 and this feature is not available, is it coming in a later version or am I just missing something?

Brian, it's a bit hidden.  It's a layout-specific parameter in VIEW, so in VIEW, you need to go to "Settings -> Layout Parameters" and then check "Word wrap" at the bottom in the Legend section.

To make this persistent for myself, I opened DIAdem as an admin (right-click on the program and select "run as admin"), in SCRIPT open the script that always starts with DIAdem (c:\Program Files\National Instruments\DIAdem 2019\Libr\Documents\ScriptDefault.VBS) and add this line: 

View.Settings.UseMultilineLegend = True

So when my DIAdem opens, this setting is already set to "true".  Now, someone else could create a VIEW layout without this parameter, and then you'd have to re-check it.
