Support GUI (SUD) development using Python

Having Python as a scripting language is great, however, Python is not (yet) supported to develop user dialogs. Dialogs must be developed using VBS. While a Python script file can be run from a dialog using VBS, this leads to many Python files containing snippets of code. Updating the approach for GUI (SUD) development would be a welcome improvement.

That would be great. I would also love if python could be used for V&V scripting in .dpp files

I'm not sure why this has not garnered any more Kudos, it certainly deserves to be.

Python script development should be on a par to VBscript both in terms of script capability and user dialogs. Debugging scripts in Python continue to improve and I'm hoping that we can retire the hoops we currently have to go through to get VBscript debugging installed in current Diadem versions and move completely over to Python.
